Silence of a Skilled MuseShe knew this room well. It was hers, and she considered it a sanctuary of sorts. A nice place to get away from all the troubles of the world. Soothing, relaxing and, more often than not, peaceful. The perfect environment in which to meet a muse.  
 
Well, perfect for the muses she preferred anyway. Reliable muses. Ones that arrived on time. Who would stay with her until she was ready to return to the real world. A guide who would lead her through those wonderful twists and turns, and would set her on the right path. She sighed wishfully. That was the kind of muse she desired.

Reason to FightThe young girl clutched her arm, hissing in anger at the sight of the large bluish-black bruise that was beginning to form. She should have been more careful. If she had been more alert the older boy would never have managed to grab her. If she had admitted defeat once he’d pinned her, there would be no bruise. No sign that she had lost the fight. It's been not quite 6 months since I last wrote a journal, so I figured it was time to do so.

And what better way to get rid of the old by drawing attention to something new?

:giggle: At least your muse is hanging around. XD Mine seems to be on an extended vacation. They must be sending me postcards though, 'cause I have been getting some ideas, but they're not lasting long... And they aren't for the themes, darn it!

Mmm, fanfiction... I suck at writing it. :laughing: Can't work with other people's characters; they end up being way too out of character.

Heh, one project that ironically has seen only one chapter online I kept calling my "bad fanfiction waiting to happen"... for yeeears. I actually took that character and started writing other stuff from waaaay later. Hmm, must finish backstory! It's in my head! :giggle:

I'm always fairly mortified I might screw a char up... but the only borrowed characters I write are ones I am verrrry familiar with or feel confident I can pass off. And those worlds/characters are just too much fun for me to leave alone. :mwahaha:

I've never felt confident enough to mess with other people's characters, at least not on paper. Any fanfics I think up remain safely in my head! xD

Mmm, talking about writing makes me want to go and write. lol
